Recent Turkish data showed that the value of the country’s auto industry exports amounted to 17 billion and 337 million dollars in the first half of this year.
The Automotive Industry Exporters Union in the Uludag region (in Bursa state) stated that the sector’s exports amounted to $3 billion last June.
In a statement published on Thursday, it said that the sector’s exports increased during the first half of this year by 13.7 percent, compared to the same period in 2022.

The union pointed out that the value of the sector’s exports amounted to $17 billion and $337 million between January and June 2023.
According to the federation’s data, France ranked first among the countries that import the sector’s products the most during June 2023, with a value of $400 million.
Germany came in second with $388 million, followed by the United Kingdom with $284 million.
