The unemployment rate in Turkey decreased last August by 0.4 points compared to July 2022, to settle at 9.6 percent.

This came according to recent data published by the Turkish Statistics Authority on Monday.
The data indicated that the unemployment rate in Turkey fell to its lowest level since March 2014.
The data added that the number of unemployed people last August amounted to 3 million and 312 thousand people.

The data indicated that the unemployment rate in August 2022 decreased by 2.2 percent compared to the same month in 2021.
