The Turkish Statistics Authority announced that the unemployment rate decreased during the second quarter of this year 2023 to 9.7 percent.
And it stated in a statement on Thursday that the unemployment rate during the period between April and June of 2023 decreased by 0.3 points compared to the first quarter, to reach 9.7 percent.
And it showed that the number of unemployed decreased in the same period by 73 thousand people, to become 3 million and 400 thousand.

It indicated that the total employment during the second quarter increased by 151 thousand, to reach 31 million and 513 thousand people, compared to the previous quarter.
It pointed out that the unemployment rate during the second quarter decreased by 1 point compared to the same period last year.
