Turkey .. “Trabzon Aquarium” receives 148 thousand visitors in 3 months

More than 148 thousand people visited the “Trabzon Aquarium” within 3 months of the aquarium in the Turkish state of Trabzon on the Black Sea.

The aquarium is located in the district of “Orta Hesar” in the state of Trabzon in northern Turkey and includes more than 5,000 marine organisms of 80 species.

Ahmed Metin Ganç, the mayor of Orta Hisar, said in a statement on Saturday that the basin has received 148,133 visitors, including 25,673 foreigners, since its opening on May 19, 2022.

The aquarium, located between the valleys of “Zagnos” and “Tabkhana”, includes at its entrance a section special to the living things that live in fresh water and another that includes reptiles and amphibians, as well as a non-aquatic section displaying bats and swamp creatures.

One of the most noticeable things in the aquarium is the presence of a huge crocodile.

In a special room, the aquarium displays a shark, in addition to photographing the stages of its exit from the eggs until its large shape.

The aquarium is not only displaying aquatic life, but also allows its visitors the opportunity to see the shapes and plants found at the bottom of the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian oceans, as well as the most prominent neighborhoods in these areas.
