The World Karate Championships for juniors, youth and under-21 years kicked off on Wednesday in Konya, Turkey.

The tournament will take place in the Karatay International Sports Hall, and the Turkish team includes 39 players, including 18 females.
The tournament is scheduled to conclude on Sunday, October 30.
