Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu discussed with his Russian counterparts Sergey Lavrov and Ukrainian Dmytro Kuleba the latest developments in the current conflict between the two sides.
This came in two separate phone calls made by Çavuşoğlu with his Russian and Ukrainian counterparts, according to a statement issued by the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
The statement indicated that during the phone call, Çavuşoğlu and Lavrov discussed ways to end the existing crisis.
The statement added that Çavuşoğlu and Kuleba discussed the latest developments in Ukraine.
On February 24, Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine, which was followed by angry international reactions and the imposition of “tough” economic and financial sanctions on Moscow.
