Turkey records the highest economic growth in the G20

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) said that Turkey achieved the highest economic growth among the G20 countries in the first quarter of this year, at 2.4 percent.

The organization explained in a statement on Wednesday that the average economic growth of the G20 countries in the first quarter of this year reached 0.9 percent.

The statement added that India ranked second with 1.9 percent, China third with 1.6 percent, and Saudi Arabia fourth with 1.4 percent.

The statement pointed out that the US economy achieved growth of 0.3 percent during the first quarter of this year.
