Turkey attracts foreign direct investments worth $2.8 billion

The total inflow of foreign direct investment into Turkey during the first four months of this year amounted to $2.8 billion.

The Association of International Investors (YASED) explained in a report on Monday that foreign direct investment last April reached $1.278 billion, which is the highest monthly level in 2024.

It added that the United Kingdom was the largest investor in Turkey last April, with a value of $134 million and a share of 28 percent.

The share of European Union countries in total investments reached 49 percent, while the share of the American continent reached 21 percent.

Thus, the total value of foreign direct investment flows to Turkey since 2002 rises to more than $266 billion.
