Turkey offered its condolences to Indonesia for the victims of the earthquake that struck West Java, leaving 162 dead.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Monday that it had received with sadness the news of many dead and injured in the earthquake.
She expressed her sincere condolences to the families of the victims, the friendly and brotherly Indonesian people and their government, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
The death toll from the earthquake that struck the Indonesian island of Java on Monday rose from 62 to 162, according to local media.

And Ridwan Kamel, the governor of West Java, announced that the death toll had reached 162 people as of Monday evening, while hundreds were injured and more than 13,000 people were displaced.
