The value of exports of the ferrous and non-ferrous metals sector in Turkey exceeded two billion dollars during the months of January and February.
According to data published by the Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters Union in Istanbul on Wednesday, the sector’s exports amounted to $1.05 billion in January.
The data showed that the value of the sector’s exports during last February amounted to one billion dollars, with the total value during the two months exceeding two billion dollars.

The ferrous and non-ferrous metals sector accounted for 6.1 percent of the country’s total exports and ranked sixth at the level of the industrial sector.
