Ahmet Gülac, head of the Federation of Furniture Associations in Turkey, revealed that the sector’s exports grew by more than 48 percent during last May.
He added that the reputation of Turkish furniture is very positive around the world, citing the continuous increase in the sector’s exports figures.

He explained that the sector’s export revenues amounted to 2.6 billion Turkish liras during the first 5 months of 2021, an increase of 28 percent compared to the same period last year.
He pointed out that Turkish furniture exports have reached 200 different countries around the world, stressing that they aim to enter the list of the five most furniture exporting countries around the world.
