Turkey exports 12.3 billion dollars from the mineral sector in 10 months

Turkish exports from the ferrous and non-ferrous metals sector amounted to 12.3 billion dollars during the first ten months of this year 2022.

The Istanbul Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Exporters’ Union said in a statement on Tuesday that the sector’s share during the mentioned period in the total Turkish exports amounted to 5%.

He added that the value of the sector’s exports amounted to $12.3 billion during the first ten months of this year, an increase of 22 percent compared to the same period in 2021.

The statement indicated that the sector’s exports last October increased by 2.8 percent compared to the same month of 2021, and amounted to $1.06 billion.

At the level of the most importing countries, Germany ranked first, followed by Italy and then the United States.
