Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the completion of preparations for the issuance of a law guaranteeing the rights of teachers.
This came in his speech on Tuesday during an event marking Teacher’s Day in Turkey, corresponding to November 24 of each year, at the Presidential Complex in the capital, Ankara.

He stressed that the government attaches importance to the problems of teachers, and is taking all necessary steps in this regard.
He said, “We have completed our preparations for the issuance of the teaching profession law, which will guarantee the rights of our teachers.”
He hoped that the new teachers’ rights that they would obtain through the law would be good for them.
