Turkey and Russia discuss economic cooperation opportunities

On Thursday, Russian and Turkish officials and businessmen discussed opportunities for mutual cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

This came during a meeting organized with the support of the Russian Export Center under the title “Russia – Turkey: Effective Trade Partnership”.

In his speech, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak indicated the continued strengthening of cooperation between Moscow and Ankara in many fields, including energy.

He pointed out that Turkey could become a logistical hub.
