The head of the Turkish Defense Industries Corporation, Ismail Demir, announced the entry into service of the first ship of the “logistical support vessel” project.

In a blog post published on Wednesday on his social media accounts, Demir said that the “logistical support vessel” project aims to meet the logistical needs of Turkish warships.
He explained that the ship (TCG Yzb. Güngör Durmuş (A-574)) has been completed and has entered service in the Turkish Naval Forces Command.
