The textile sector in Turkey achieved exports of products worth 8.2 billion dollars in the first eight months of this year 2021.
This is according to recent data on Friday from the Istanbul Textile and Raw Material Exporters Association (İTHİB).

The textile sector achieved exports worth 8.2 billion dollars in the period from January to August of this year.
The sector recorded an increase of 36 percent in August compared to the same period last year.
The textile sector occupied an important position in Turkey’s exports, with exports worth 11.8 billion dollars during the past twelve months.
By the end of this year, exports are expected to reach $12 billion.
