
The Turkish authorities in the capital, Ankara, arrested 34 Afghan immigrants who entered the country illegally.
The Ankara Security Directorate said in a statement on Sunday that anti-human smuggling teams had arrested 34 Afghan migrants in the Golbaşı district.

It added that a smuggler suspected of transporting these migrants to Ankara had been arrested.
The security authorities began procedures to deport the migrants out of Turkey.
