Transporting 97 billion cubic meters of gas to Turkey and Europe

The amount of natural gas flowing to Turkey and Europe through the Russian TurkStream pipeline and the Azerbaijani “TANAP” line has reached about 97 billion cubic meters since the inauguration of the two aforementioned lines.

According to information, 26.7 billion cubic meters of Russian natural gas have been transported to Turkey and 30.5 billion cubic meters to Europe via the natural gas pipeline (Turk Stream) since its inauguration on January 8, 2020.

TurkStream consists of two lines with a total gas transport capacity of 31.5 billion cubic meters. The gas is transported to Turkey through the first line and to Europe via the second line.

The amount of Azerbaijani gas transported to Turkey through the trans-Anatolian natural gas pipeline “TANAP” amounted to about 20.5 billion cubic meters, and to Europe about 19.5 billion cubic meters, since the launch of the pipeline in 3 stages in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
