The Turkish Red Crescent Organization has obtained the “Global First Aid Accreditation” certificate from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
According to the organization’s statement on Sunday, the Turkish Red Crescent has become the first Red Crescent and Red Cross organization to obtain accreditation and the seventh among international organizations.
The first aid certificates granted by the Turkish Red Crescent to the trainees will be internationally accredited after they receive 16 hours of training.
The accreditation, which has a validity period of 5 years, takes into account a program based on scientific studies and international standards in the field of first aid, and is based on an applied program that reaches all segments of society.
