The Turkish economy is growing by 3.9 percent

During the third quarter of this year 2022, the Turkish economy grew by 3.9 percent, according to data published by the Turkish Statistical Authority on Wednesday.

The data showed that the estimate of GDP during the third quarter of 2022 rose to 3.9 percent compared to the same period last year.

It indicated that the estimate of gross domestic product at current prices increased by 120.5 percent in the third quarter of this year compared to the same period of 2021, and amounted to 4 trillion, 258 billion and 168 million Turkish liras (the dollar is equivalent to 18.67 liras).

Thus, the Turkish economy has achieved growth for 9 consecutive quarters.

And economists who participated in a survey previously expected that the growth of the Turkish economy during the second quarter of this year would reach 3.9 percent.
