The Turkish airline network reaches 346 points in 131 countries

Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu said that his country’s aviation network has reached 346 points around the world in 131 countries.

This came in a speech he delivered on Wednesday during the annual general assembly meeting of the European International Airports Council held in Istanbul.

He added that Turkey’s geographical location allows access to 67 countries inhabited by 1.4 billion people through a trip of only 4 hours.

He pointed out that Istanbul and Sabiha Gökçen International Airports in Istanbul have become the best transit hub in the Middle East.

He stated that Turkey continues to strengthen its position in the world of aviation day after day, as the number of destinations reached by its airlines’ flights has reached 346 destinations in 131 countries around the world.
