The start of the tourist season in the Turkish state of Muğla

The tourist season began in Muğla Province, southwestern Turkey, on Saturday, receiving the first convoy of tourists from Britain.

A reception was held at Dalaman Airport in the state for the first tourist convoy arriving by plane from Britain with 189 tourists on board.

After the reception and presentation of flowers, the British tourists moved to the hotels in the tourist city of Dalaman in Muğla Province.

In a press statement, Dalaman Airport Executive Director Yigit Lachin said that the first flight of the new tourist season arrived from Britain.

He explained that the tourist convoy started from the British city of Manchester and landed in the city of Dalaman and included 189 tourists.

According to data from the Airport Operating Authority in Turkey, Dalaman Airport received and deposited 77,722 passengers last January who arrived and traveled on board 1,256 aircraft.
