In the Çayeli district of Rize, 54-year-old Hasan Voronko went to sea, ignoring his friend’s warnings of high waves, and Voronko disappeared sometime after entering the sea.

After his friend became aware of Voronko’s disappearance, he informed the law enforcement authorities.
Coast Guard teams that came to the scene have started a search, but crews are still searching for the missing person.
