The Atakule Tower is covered in green on Saudi National Day

The Atakule Tower in the Turkish capital, Ankara, was lit up in the color of the flag of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the occasion of its 93rd National Day on Saturday evening.

The tower, which is one of the symbols of Ankara, was painted green on the occasion of Saudi National Day.

A congratulatory phrase on the occasion of Saudi National Day was also displayed on the screen at the top of the tower and the Kingdom’s flag.​​​​​​​

The Atakule Tower is one of the most prominent landmarks of the Turkish capital. It is located in the “Çankaya” neighborhood in central Ankara. It was opened in 1989 by the late President Turgut Ozal.

On Saturday, Saudi Arabia celebrated the Kingdom’s 93rd National Day amid Arab and international congratulations.
