She added in a statement that the efforts of the gendarmerie forces leadership and the Security Directorate to persuade the organization’s members to surrender themselves resulted in the defection of one element, crossing into Turkey and surrendering to the security forces.
He stated that the “PKK” element surrendered to the security forces on the border in the “Nassibin” area of Mardin province, southeast of Turkey.
He explained that the element joined the ranks of the terrorist organization in 2015 and participated in its activities on Syrian territory.

The statement indicated that the number of terrorists who surrendered to the Turkish security forces by persuasion since the beginning of this year has reached 63.
