While the exciting wait for Turkey’s first manned space mission continues, there is still an hour and a half remaining until NASA’s Ax-3 mission flies into the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
Members of the Ax-3 mission, including Alper Gezaravci, who will be the first Turkish astronaut, arrived at the launch site and moved towards the capsule that will carry them into space.
In the statement issued by SpaceX about Turkey’s first manned space mission, it was stated: “The crew seats have been transported to the flight site, and clothing leakage checks and communications checks have been completed.
The Dragon capsule’s lid is now closed, and he added: “There are less than two hours left until launch to the International Space Station.”
