The prince of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, decided on Wednesday to provide half a billion dollars in support for the reconstruction of Gaza affected by the Israeli aggression.
“With the directives of the prince of the country, Qatar announces $ 500 million in support for the reconstruction of Gaza,” Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Muhammad Abdul Rahman said on Twitter.

He added, “We will continue to support the brothers in Palestine in order to reach a just and lasting solution to establish an independent state.”
There is a national committee for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed by Ambassador Muhammad Al-Emadi.
It has provided major roles in implementing projects that serve the people of Gaza, and alleviate the effects of the siege imposed on it for years.
Thus, Qatar is the second Arab country to announce support for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, after Egypt, following the recent Israeli aggression on the Strip.
On May 18, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi announced the allocation of $ 500 million for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
