Ismail Demir, head of the Turkish Defense Industries Organization, announced that the security forces will be provided with the first batch of homemade “Tugan” drones, which are intended for reconnaissance and information-gathering purposes.


And he added in a tweet via his Twitter account on Sunday that they continue to provide the Turkish security forces with the latest local defense industries products and engineering solutions.

He explained that the “Tugan” drones are for reconnaissance and intelligence gathering purposes.

It is noteworthy that the “Tugan” drones are produced by the Turkish company “STM” for Defense Technologies.

Togan has the ability to schedule her own jobs and has the ability to move around and monitor every detail through her cameras.


Togan is also characterized by the ability to zoom in on objects 30 times and can identify fixed and moving hazards with high accuracy during the day and at night.

It can fly at an altitude of 1,000 meters, reach a speed of 72 kilometers per hour, and can stay in the air for 40 minutes.
