President Erdogan meets with President Putin on Palestine

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to the statement issued by the Communications Directorate, developments in Palestine and issues related to the delivery of the Sputnik V vaccine to Turkey were discussed during the meeting.

President Erdogan also stated during the meeting that they, as Turkey, had expressed their response in the harshest way to the reckless Israeli attacks on Jerusalem, Gaza, Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinians.

And that the international community must teach Israel a strong and deterrent lesson at all levels, and stated that they would continue their attempts.

“It is important that Turkey and Russia show their agreement”

President Erdoan has said that he believes the Russian Foreign Ministry’s statement referring to the United Nations standards and the two-state solution on the Palestinian issue is important.
