Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday inspected a copy of the new model of the local TOOG car.

The new model bears the name “T10F”, a “sedan” for a 100 percent electric car, and is designed to meet the expectations of users of low-roof sedans.

On the sidelines of his participation in the 80th session of the General Assembly of the Union of Turkish Chambers and Stock Exchanges in Ankara, President Erdogan inspected the new car and received a briefing from officials about its advantages.

The Turkish company “TOOG” introduced its new model for the first time during the annual “CES” exhibition in the American city of Las Vegas last January.

The new car is scheduled to be launched on the market with three technologies and two features, the first with a standard-range rear engine, the second with a long-range rear engine, and the third with a dual engine.

The engine power is 217 horsepower, and the battery will be in two versions for the two rear engines, the first with a range of 350+ and the second with a range of 600 kilometers, while the range of the dual-motor battery will be 530 kilometers.

On October 29, 2022, Turkey celebrated the production of the first local car, marking the start of serial manufacturing of its “TOOG” electric car.

Ankara owns 100 percent of the intellectual and industrial rights to the car, through which it seeks to build a global brand and form the nucleus of an integrated Turkish transportation system.
