This fund will be used to prevent future destruction,” the assessment was made.

It was noted that the lawsuits brought by Attorney General James against other industrial companies that produce opiates are continuing.

An appeals court also upheld a $2.1 billion fine by J&J for years of intentional use of the cancer-causing substance asbestos in baby powder on June 1.

Along with Pfizer and Moderna, J&J is among the pharmaceutical companies that have approved the new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine in the United States.
