On Sunday, Belgium was hit by fresh floods for the second time in 10 days.

Because of the heavy rain during the day, water flooded at night some streets in the city of “Namur”, the capital of the province of “Wallonia” in the south of the country, and sank many basements of houses.

Videos posted by citizens on social media showed that the floodwaters washed away some vehicles in the city of Dinant in the Wallonia region.

There were also reports that some roads in the area were closed due to flooding, and many homes were evacuated due to the collapse of the retaining wall, and it is not yet clear whether there were casualties.

Last week, at least 37 people were killed, and several houses collapsed due to floods in eastern Belgium.
