Ministry of Defense: 3 Turkish soldiers were martyred in northern Iraq


On Tuesday, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the martyrdom of 3 of its soldiers and the wounding of 5 others in the area of ​​Operation Claw-Lock in northern Iraq.


According to a statement published by the Ministry of Defense, the Turkish soldiers were martyred in a clash with PKK terrorists, and the statement confirmed that the injured soldiers were taken to the hospital.

The Turkish Defense expressed its deep sorrow and offered its condolences to the families of the martyrs, the armed forces and the Turkish people, wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded.


On April 18, Turkey launched the “claw-lock” operation against the strongholds of the “PKK” terrorist organization in the areas of Matina, Zab and Afshin-Basian in northern Iraq.
