Kuwaiti Parliament Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim called the head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, and said that his country supports the rights of the Palestinians.

Ghanem said in the meeting that they support the Palestinian people against injustice and attacks on the holy sites of children, women, Muslims and Christians in Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip.
Ghanem affirmed Kuwait’s firm stance in support of the rights of Palestinians, and rejected Israeli violations against the Palestinian people.
He said that the Kuwait Council is organizing a meeting with the General Secretariat of the Inter-Parliamentary Union to follow up the situation in the region and take decisions to support the Palestinians.
According to the latest data released by the Ministry of Health in Gaza since May 10, 145 Palestinians, including 41 children and 23 women, lost their lives in the Israeli attacks on Gaza, and 1,100 people were injured.
