Istanbul Airport breaks a record for the number of daily passengers

Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced on Monday that Istanbul Airport broke a record number of daily passengers with 268,275 passengers yesterday, Sunday.

Uraloğlu pointed out in a statement that this number is the highest number of passengers recorded at Istanbul Airport since its opening (in 2018).

In details, Minister Uraloğlu explained that the number of passengers reached 205,721 on international lines and 62,554 on domestic lines yesterday, Sunday.

Uraloğlu stated that the previous record was recorded on July 2, 2023, with 265,961 passengers.

He pointed out that Istanbul Airport shows its importance as a global brand by breaking new records day after day, and expressed his pride in the airport’s continued success.
