Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed on Thursday that the entire world must support the struggle of the Palestinian people to achieve their freedom.
This came in a joint press conference held with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze at the Turkish presidential complex in the capital, Ankara.
In this regard, President Erdogan said: “All of humanity must support the Palestinian people’s struggle for their freedom diplomatically and legally, especially since this people paid a heavy price for their freedom.”
Regarding bilateral relations between Turkey and Georgia, Erdogan said: “We are continuing our work to ensure that the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line returns to operating at full capacity again.”
He touched on the armed attack on Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, saying: “We will continue to stand against any action targeting peace, stability and security in our region.”
