Giant “corpse flower” spotted in Indonesia


The Rafflesia arnoldii, also known as the “corpse flower”, has been spotted in a village in Indonesia.

And a flower of this kind appeared in the village of “Balubuah” in the city of “Ajam” as a destination for interested visitors.

This plant is characterized by the fact that it produces the largest flower in the world, as the diameter of the flower reaches one meter and its weight is 11 kg.

The Rafflesia flower is one of the rarest plants in the world due to the difficulty of the pollination process and it is not easy to find and see it blooming in the rainforests where it is endemic.
