Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed that his country “will emerge with minimal losses from the global economic storm by choosing an economic model based on production and job creation.”
This came in a speech during an event held on Monday on the occasion of the inauguration of a number of service projects in the state of Kutahya and the centenary of the “Victory Day” against the Allied forces in 1922.
Erdogan stressed that the people will see better after New Year’s Eve the positive repercussions of the economic measures and policies adopted on their daily life.
He said, “We are determined to make the current century the century of Turkey.”
President Erdoğan pointed out that he officially inaugurated today 344 completed projects in Kütahya in recent years.
He explained that the current value of these projects belonging to the ministries and municipalities is estimated at 5.5 billion Turkish liras (one dollar is equivalent to about 18 liras).
