Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, through a tweet, announced scenes of the details of the manufacture of the Turkish car “TOGG”, which is the first of its kind in the history of the country, which was recently disclosed.

This came after the Turkish President participated in laying the foundation stone of the Turkish car factory “TOGG” in the western province of Bursa.

Erdogan commented on the video attached to the tweet, saying, “We have made a historic step to realize our dream, which dates back 60 years, by opening the engineering, design and production center for the TOGG national car.”

He also added: “I thank our dear people for their support, and everyone who contributed to this project.”

Erdogan: The Turkish car is the symbol of our renaissance

Previously, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had confirmed, in a speech on Saturday, on the occasion of laying the foundation stone for building the Turkish car factory “TOGG” in the western province of Bursa. However, the local-made Turkish car will be a symbol of the renaissance of his country, despite what he called the “fearful lobby” who frustrated the resolve of the Turkish people.

Erdogan also pointed out that the “fearful lobby” has never rested in his attempts to keep Turkey dependent on the others, by publishing allegations that Turkey will not be able to manufacture and sell the car.

In his speech, Erdogan said, “Millions of hearts are excited again to realize the dream of the Turkish car that has been obstructed from home and abroad for years.”

The Turkish president has confirmed that Turkey’s project to manufacture its local car has had repercussions inside the country and other countries of the world. He pointed out that the project of manufacturing the Turkish car “TOGG” has had great repercussions in Turkey and other countries of the world.

He also described the start of building the Turkish car factory, as a response to those who tried to thwart this project, when it was in the process of design.

The Turkish President expressed his confidence that the local car project will be a symbol of his country’s vision towards becoming a strong and innovative country, and a source of inspiration for young generations.

In December 2019, Turkey had revealed the first car manufactured with Turkish local capabilities, to be in service and in the streets of the country within 3 years.

It is expected that the factory will provide job opportunities for 4 thousand 323 people, including 300 who are qualified, and it is set to produce 175 thousand cars annually, in 5 different models.
