Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in the capital, Astana, on Wednesday, at the invitation of his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Gomert Tokayev.

Upon his arrival at Nursultan Nazarbayev Airport, Erdogan was received by the Kazakh President and other officials.
During his two-day visit, Erdogan is scheduled to participate in the “Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia” (SICA) conference.
Erdogan is accompanied on the visit by his wife Amina and ministers; Foreign Ministry Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Agriculture and Forestry, Vahid Kirishci, Trade, Mehmet Muş, Transportation and Infrastructure, Adil Kara Ismailoglu.

He is also accompanied by intelligence chief Hakan Fidan, head of the Defense Industries Corporation, Ismail Demir, head of the presidential communications department, Fahrettin Altun, and presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin.
