The first convoy of British tourists during the new tourist season arrived in Bodrum, in the state of Mugla, southwestern Turkey.
The plane carrying 166 tourists landed Sunday at Milas-Bodrum Airport, and the tourists were greeted with flowers by the airport staff.
British airline EasyJet will operate three flights a week between Bristol and Bodrum until November 4.

In a press statement, the head of the Hotel Operators Association in Bodrum, Umar Faruk Dengiz, said that flights carrying tourists to Bodrum will increase from now on.
He expected British tourists to take the lead, followed by Germans, Russians and Poles, stressing the region’s hotels are fully prepared to receive tourists.
