“Doctors Around the World – Turkey” provides food aid in Gaza

On Monday, the “Doctors Around the World-Turkey” association distributed food aid to dozens of humanitarian cases in the Gaza Strip.

Muhammad Hajji, head of the “home medical care” project department in the association’s branch in the Gaza Strip, said that they began distributing 250 food baskets to dozens of beneficiaries.

He added that the beneficiary groups are “poor families and those affected by the May 2021 crisis (the last Israeli war) and groups of patients who benefit from the association’s home medical care project.”

Hajji explained that the association annually launches the food baskets project during the month of Ramadan.

The Association “Doctors Around the World – Turkey” started its activities in the health and relief fields in the Gaza Strip in 2015.

More than two million Palestinians live in Gaza, suffering from difficult living conditions as a result of the continuous Israeli blockade of the Strip since 2007.
