According to information obtained from security sources, elements of the Turkish and American armed forces will conduct joint military exercises to increase interoperability in the eastern Mediterranean.
According to information obtained from security sources, TCG Gemlik of the Naval Forces Command will begin operations today by meeting with the USS Eisenhower mission group in southern Rhodes.

The extended exercises will be held in the Eastern Mediterranean on March 18th after TCG Gemlik, who will sail for a period of time in the said working group.
Transitional training will also be held in the eastern Mediterranean with the Eisenhower aircraft carrier task group, with the participation of aircraft from the Naval Forces Command to the Air Force Command of the Frigates.
