China approves Sinovac vaccine for children

Sinovac vaccine is approved for use in children in China, and accordingly, the vaccine can be given to children between the ages of 3 and 17 years.

A coronavirus vaccine produced by the Chinese company Sinovac has been approved for use in children in China.

The statement came from Sinovac CEO Yin Weidong, and Yin said they have obtained approval from the joint mechanism of the Chinese State Council for Disease Control and Prevention.

When will it start?

It is not yet clear when the vaccine will begin to be used in children aged 3 to 17 years.
