Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on Saturday that about 60 percent of wars and crises around the world are located in Turkey’s vicinity.
This came during his participation in an iftar banquet hosted by the ruling Justice and Development Party in Sakarya, northwestern Turkey.
Çavuşoğlu added that these wars and crises made it imperative for Turkey to pursue a humanitarian and proactive foreign policy.
