The bus carrying precious metal miners in Peru crashed in the accident, 27 miners were killed and 13 were injured.
Hochschild Mining, a UK-based silver and gold mining company, also announced that a bus carrying precious metal workers from the company’s Pallancata mine in Peru to Arequipa, Peru, has crashed.

Twenty-seven miners lost their lives in the accident, and 13 miners were injured.
Hochschild Mining CEO Ignacio Bustamante said: “We are all stunned by this news, and we have already launched a thorough investigation.”
On the other hand, a worker at the Palankata mine in Hoshield died last year as a result of a rock falling on him, but the accident was not recorded in the company’s 2019 report.
