Nominations will be examined and decided by the Guardian Council (AKK).

He must have at least a university education, and al-Askari must have at least the rank of Major General.

President Hassan Rouhani rejected this decision taken by the Justice and Development Party yesterday, and directed the Ministry of Interior to “implement the current conditions in the constitution.”
