On Friday, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met the European Union High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Josep Borrell in the southern Turkish state of Antalya and discussed bilateral relations.
Çavuşoğlu and Borrell’s meeting comes within the framework of the latter’s visit to Antalya to participate in the “Southeast European Cooperation Process” summit.

In addition to the “Antalya Diplomatic Forum” hosted by the Turkish state between June 17-20.
Regarding the meeting, Çavuşoğlu said in a tweet via Twitter: “We discussed the agenda items of Turkey and the European Union, especially the modernization of the customs union, immigration and visa liberalization (for Turkish citizens of the EU countries).”
