On Thursday, Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay affirmed his country’s continued support for the Turkish Cypriots so that they can look to the future with confidence and live in peace, tranquility, and prosperity.
This came in a speech delivered by Oktay during a ceremony to present a Turkish grant to the Police Service of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, which included vehicles and security equipment.

Oktay noted that the safety and prosperity of Turkish Cypriots are indispensable to Turkey.
He pointed out that Turkey will spare no effort to provide the police force in Northern Cyprus with equipment and develop its skills.
He explained that the Turkish grant provided to the police included 5 vehicles, drones, anti-drone equipment, security bags, and wireless communication equipment, in addition to other equipment.
