The amount of grain sent from Ukrainian ports has exceeded 17 million and 254 thousand tons since the conclusion of the Istanbul Agreement.
This came in a statement issued by the Turkish Ministry of Defense on Saturday.
The statement indicated that grain shipments from Ukrainian ports continued safely as planned.
He explained that the number of ships loaded with grain that left the ports of Ukraine reached 643.

On July 22, Istanbul witnessed the signing of the “Initiative Document for Safe Shipping of Grains and Foodstuffs from Ukrainian Ports” between Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and the United Nations.
The agreement included securing grain exports stuck in Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea (eastern Europe) to the world to address the global food shortage crisis that threatens a humanitarian catastrophe.
